Hours of Operation 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM   Parents should try to have the children at school by 8:30 a.m., or call by 9:00 a.m. so the child will be counted for lunch and other scheduled activities. In order for the child to eat breakfast, they must arrive no later than 8:30 a.m.   The day care will be open year round except holidays and professional development days. When staff members use personnel days, bereavement, family illness, or sick days, the day care will utilize appropriate resources for qualified substitutes.	Our Staff Our goal at New Life Child Development Center is to strive for excellence in providing care and service to parents and children. Therefore, we make sure that we have top-notch, qualified staff to serve our clients. All teachers are trained in CPR and First Aid Certified. The complete staff has or is in the process of getting one of the following: the North Carolina Child Care Credentials, a College Degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development. In addition, all teachers and necessary staff will be required to attend various classes and workshops throughout the year.   Our teachers and staff are committed to you and your children and we will provide the highest quality service possible. Therefore, we will continue to implement trainings and programs to enhance the service.   We participate in workshops, seminars, and in-service programs to stay informed and updated in our chosen fields of the care and education of children.	Inclement Weather Policy Written notice, telephone contacts, pre-recorded messages, or other appropriate means will communicate closings for circumstances beyond our control (heating/air conditioning failure, snow, etc). If the director decides it is necessary prior to opening hours not to open the facility, telephone or radio will notify parents or television broadcast on the following stations: WRAL-TV 5 and WTVD-11 News   Should snow or storm require the facility to close during operating hours, parents will be notified by telephone and/or radio/TV broadcast on the above stations.
